10 years of Searching for Home – that calls for a celebration! The Leipzig band is hitting the road to celebrate its anniversary. After three releases, over 170 concerts, and several awards (1st Sparda Jazz Award, 1st Jazzfruit, 5th Burghausen Jazz Award), Searching for Home presents a captivating anniversary concert, presenting new songs and reimagined classics on stages across Germany and abroad.
With their new sound, the musicians shed light on various aspects of interpersonal relationships. Whether its the relationship with oneself, excessive focus on one person, or drifting apart – the band tells their story with forward momentum and an incredibly contagious optimism. Led by vocalist Idas versatile voice, pulsating rhythms, rich brass sections, captivating bass and guitars, and sophisticated synthesizer sounds, they continually bring new facets to their energetic concert program. Searching for Home sets new standards in their field of exploration of the fusion of jazz and pop.
