About this event
We invite you to a lively concert dedicated to the work of the legendary Kora and her band. During this musical journey, you will hear Maanams greatest hits, such as "Boskie Buenos," "Anioł," "Cykady na cykladach," "Szare miraże," and others. The concert will be hosted by charismatic vocalist and actress Dorota Kołodziej.

Dorota Kołodziej - actress, vocalist, and theater instructor. She made her debut in 2010 in the title role of Euripides "Electra," directed by Włodzimierz Staniewski. From 2010 to 2022, she was closely associated with the Gardzienice Theatre, where she created acting and vocal roles in "Iphigenia in Tauris," "Iphigenia in Aulis," "The Pythian Oratorio," as well as "The Wedding" and "Liberation" based on Stanisław Wyspiański, directed by Włodzimierz Staniewski. She has performed on stages in Poland and around the world (including the Polish Theatre in Warsaw, the Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw, the Stary National Theatre in Krakow, the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk, the National Opera in Tehran, amphitheaters in Greece and Spain, and the Gesher Theatre in Israel). Since 2017, she has been co-founder and vocalist of the band MUNDINOVA, combining acoustic sounds around the indie jazz/fusion/art song genres, with which she has released two original albums: "W drodze" (2020) and "Fantom" (2022). She is associated with the musical community in Wrocław and the Tricity, where she co-creates concerts such as Tango Night, 007 Songs, and "O zięło Kobietm" with the Golden Gate String Quartet. In 2021, she played the main role in Barbara Naporas feature film "Engram" (premiere planned for 2024). The film was shot using analog technology, on 16mm film. Other projects include co-composing the musical score for Piotr Dumałas animated film "Zbrodnia i kara" (presented at the 32nd PPA, trend:kino); Acting in the theatrical and musical production "Mozarts Requiem," directed by Jerzy Zoń; and in the performance "Midnight Show," directed by Zorka Wollny. In 2017, she was awarded the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship Medal for her theatrical achievements. She is a recipient of the Creative Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2021) in the field of Theatre, under which she directed a radio play.
